Martesha Haynes Puts Social Good In Action

Kitty: Let’s talk about you branching out. What are some of the future plans for SGIA.

Martesha: I plan to go down to the Salvation Army and serve food to help the community as well as visit shelters.

Kitty: What inspires you to do all of this? You’re a very giving person. Why?

Martesha: Well, I just want to give back. That’s something to do positive, to stay out of trouble and stay on the right track. So I just found something positive to do.

Kitty: God will continue to bless you and your organization. I just want to say thank you for being one of those special people in this world. You inspire me to want to get more involved.

Since this 2011 interview, Martesha told The INDIEgator that while SGIA is continuing to organize events to help children with Autism and other developmental disabilities, they are also expanding the reach of their organization in other ways including helping to further the dreams of Musicians, Models, Fashion Designers and other causes their mission supports. Also add Lisa Sherman on Facebook; she is another executive member of the organization.
