“I want to bring the Good Country Music back to our radios.”

I recently had the pleasure of being a Guest Judge at The Urban Television Network’s auditions for America’s Next BIG TV Star inHouston,TX. One of the stand-out contestants I gave a big fat, no doubt about it “Yes!” to was Stevin Marsh. He came in with his bigTexas cowboy hat, that sexy Guitar (I love guitars) and he did his thing! We all asked him a few questions and then he gave us a LIVE performance for part of his audition.  I found him to have a very Beautiful and Powerful voice, excellent string skills and I’m sure he’ll do quite well in this competition as he has in many music competitions over the years. I was so impressed by his sound that I couldn’t help but want to get to know more about this Artist and see how it all got started. ~ Kitty Y. Williams

The INDIEgator: So Stevin, where are you from?

Stevin: I was born in a little town called Borger, TX but now I live in Alvin, TX.

The INDIEgator: How old were you when you first started music and what made you decide to become a musician?

Stevin: I started at 10 years old and it was my Love for Music.

The INDIEgator: Do you remember the crowd feedback on your first performance?

Stevin: Definitely. I performed in a choir program and the last song was my solo. When I finished, the entire audience stood up!

The INDIEgator: That had to be such great motivation. Where does your inspiration come from these days?

Stevin: From the supportive people around me. I want to make sure everyone has a good time.

The INDIEgator: I know that’s right! You have a phenomenal stage presence. How does it feel performing live?

Stevin: I Love it …  I Iove the interaction with the fans.

The INDIEgator: Where was your best performance?

Stevin: I try to make every performance the best. I really don’t have one that stands out over the rest… I have been blessed with great fans that help make that happen.
