Phoenix native Tiffany J. wears many hats. With titles including Producer, On Air Jock Promoter and A&R under her belt, Tiffany now balances roles as an Artist & Producer Manager for Family Tree Entertainment and General Manager for The Medizine magazine in Spain. She  took a moment and shared with The INDIEgator her professional journey from Arizona to Los Angeles, as well as the special man she likes to relax with at the end of the day.

The INDIEgator: When did you first get started in the Entertainment industry and when did you know you wanted to make it a career?

Tiffany J: I started in the music industry in about 1999-2000 when I got hired at a radio station (KKFR) in my home town of Phoenix, Arizona. I had called into the radio station and won concert tickets. The radio jock at the time, Julian Allison, had mentioned to me on the phone call that he thought I had a great voice for radio. Soon afterwards, I applied for a job in Promotions at the station and 4 months later was promoted to On-Air Jock.

The INDIEgator: You traveled from Phoenix to L.A. to really get a bigger push in your career endeavors. What was that transition like and was there any culture shock in regards to lifestyles?

Tiffany: Yes and no. Arizona, just like Los Angeles, has a strong Latino community so in that sense it didn’t feel different from home. But Los Angeles was even more diverse with other cultures. In L.A., everything not normal is the norm. The weather was a lot friendlier of course, but earthquakes are something I could never wrap my mind around. In Arizona we don’t have any natural disasters.
