In Fall 2003, this Model/Actress turned Entrepreneur opened the doors to her new Los Angeles based record label Dirrty Records making headlines around the world for releasing a Punk remake of Jimi Hendrix’s classic “Purple Haze”. Ms. De’Leon later opened a southeastern division,

I moved my record label to South Carolina and started Palmetto Film Studios, a film production, company to give back to my community.

Her studio makes and distributes 5 to 7 films per year. Never letting her Acting skills go to waste, this past August Lunden co-starred in the GMC movie Somebody’s Child with Emmy Award-winner Lynn Whitfield (The Josephine Baker Story, Eve’s Bayou). Also, Lunden recently joined the cast of the Feature Film We’re the Millers (2013) alongside Jennifer Aniston, Ed Helms (The Hangover) and Jason Sudeikis (Horrible Bosses).

For all of her accomplishments, they certainly have not gone unnoticed. Lunden De’Leon was voted by The Ave Magazine as “One of the Most Significant Women in Entertainment” along-side Halle Berry, Beyonce, Oprah Winfrey and many more. She was also inducted into the Caribbean Hall of Fame next to such Legends as Bob Marley and Sidney Poitier. Known too for her compassion, confidence & inspirational achievements, Former Los Angeles Mayor James K. Hahn issued a special Proclamation declaring February 7th as “Lunden De’Leon Day” in the City of Los Angeles. What an honor!
