Love & Basketball (one of my favorite movies)... Love & Hip Hop... Love and War... Well here's a new one for you: Love & Pest Control? As we mentioned previously in our interview with Spoken Word Artist Chill, during his “Street Gospel” album release event in Aurora, IL this past February, I sat at a table next to Tito and Yolanda Dunn. • L.A. Music Producer Kenny Dubb Celebrates New Milestones

by Kitty Y. Williams I want to tell you a story. Once upon a time in a small military town somewhere in the state of Kansas, there was a girl named Kitty. She had three rambunctious little brothers who were always messing up her room, ripping the heads off her beloved Barbie dolls, or stealing the spotlight from her during community Piano recitals hosted by their mother, the Teacher. Though Kitty was sometimes amused as her little brother Kenny would interrupt her while performing Classical Beethoven music for the audiences, just so he could show them that he knew how to play the theme song from the movie “Jaws”, she never imagined that one day he would turn that goofy passion into a serious career. After all, she was supposed to be the “Star”.... Over the past decade our roles have changed and I’ve spent a lot of time promoting hundreds of Musicians, Entertainers and Entrepreneurs through my different media projects. To be quite honest with you, none of it would have

While there, he learned the rules of basic camera movements, lighting, editing and sound. In addition, he took what he learned about the proper format of Screenplay writing and began writing his own for a

  • An Intimate Interview with Karma

By Kitty Y. Williams The first time I met the lovely Karma aka The Diva of Hip Hop Blues, I was sitting off to myself observing the scene at the 2012 RedZone Ultimate Music Fest and Awards put on by Fiyaworks Entertainment and friends. There to accept an award along with several other movers and shakers in the independent music scene here in Houston, I remember this very pretty slender lady in pink who came and sat next to me, striking up a conversation out of the blue. I can’t recall everything we discussed but remembered her having a very humble presence and beauty that stood out in the crowded room. Karma was performing that night and unfortunately I ended up missing it due to additional obligations that evening. Upon later discovering that she was the Headliner at Cole’s of Houston for a Valentine’s Day event the following year, my sweetheart and I made a point to go see her LIVE. It’s always refreshing to see a beautiful woman holding it down across multiple genres
