One of the stand-out contestants I gave a big fat, no doubt about it “Yes!” to was Stevin Marsh. He came in with his bigTexas cowboy hat, that sexy Guitar (I love guitars) and he did his thing! We all asked him a few questions and then he gave us a LIVE performance for part of his audition.  I found him to have a very Beautiful and Powerful voice, excellent string skills and I’m sure he’ll do quite well in this competition as he has in many music competitions over the years. I was so impressed by his sound that I couldn’t help but want to get to know more about this Artist and see how

  • Prince Stamina Says: “Stay On Your Craft”

    - As seen in the April/June 2012 issue of The INDIEgator, Page 67. - Article Shortlink: The INDIEgator: What is one of the things you think some of the New Upcoming Artists’ biggest mistakes are? Prince Stamina: The biggest mistake artists can make right now is to be too focused on the money, because if you’re too focused on the money then you’re letting your craft slip away. You’re not focused on what you’re doing in the music industry. If the music deteriorates you’re not going to make any money regardless. You may have a side hustle but we’re talking about the music right now. You may go on stage and rock 15,000 people but if everybody’s standing there not doing anything and not feeling your music, you’re not selling any units at the end of the day and therefore you won’t make money. So stop being focused on that (money); start being focused on getting your craft up, stop making this B.S. music. I’m serious. Music is getting worse and worse right now.

Williams I was so thrilled the day I got to finally meet and interview Prince Stamina last October (2011). I’d been a fan since the first time I heard his song “She Like My Profile” back on Myspace. The day before we met, I had driven to my hometown of Killeen, TX to visit family and tape some indie artist interviews for my TV show on Houston’s UTN at the time. Unfortunately the two interviews I had scheduled weren’t able to make it but I remembered that Prince Stamina happened to be in town that week and he agreed to stop by. Such a humble guy considering his busy schedule and especially my last minute request. He knocked, Lights, Camera Action and 15 minutes later we had what is still one of my most popular interviews on The Kitty Williams Show. We even filmed
