WilliamsYou know that feeling you get when you click on the radio somewhere and you hear a song from back in the day that just turns you on and you start dancing around all crazy talking about “That’s my jam. That’s my JAM!” Yeah, you know. That's how I feel when I listen to Canadian Singer Natalie Brown's music. I’ll be honest, I stopped turning on the traditional radio a long time ago other than to zone out to Jazz. So I certainly love when I accidentally come across a Vocalist like Natalie Brown online. I was just browsing on Facebook one night and saw that one of my friends had liked her This Christmas album release. So I checked it out then went to her website, checked out more YouTube videos and started rockin' out. I was like "YEAH! I LIKE this chick!" I sat there and listened to some of her entire

Williams Seriously, as I worked on the final pages of The INDIEgator's 6th issue, I sat there listening and rocking out to music on Joshua's SoundCloud page for hours wondering “Why do I have chills, again?” Every single time. See, I finally gave in and let my mom become friends with me on Facebook. Not one regret. One night she shared a YouTube video of Joshua Ledet performing Percy Sledge’s hit “When A Man Loves A Woman” at the White House in 2013. Ooh my! The passion in his eyes, in his movements, the emotion in that VOICE! I threw my panties at the screen. Then I left, came back and did it again. Don't judge me. Don’t act like I was the only one. Forgive me Lord. God

Williams Oh, oh, oh! Whoo! I’m sorry but excuse me while I catch my breath. I’m sure you’ve seen the video. It’s been going crazy all over social media since right before the New Year; and I mean literally right on time. French Singer, Songwriter and Producer Mani Hoffman shared a video of himself covering Sam Cooke‘s song “A Change is Gonna Come”. Was I the only one who clutched my chest within 3 seconds of him starting to sing? Ok okay, maybe I need to get that checked out. But my ears work just fine and even the baby was blown away by the depth and emotion in Mani's powerful voice! Ooh Honey! His raw talent is amazing and I find it so beautiful that he included his baby in the making of this video. And did you see how this true performer did not even miss a beat

Williams Whether Daniel “IceJJFish” McLoyd considers himself a serious Musician or a Comedian who enjoys playing with people’s perceptions of him, one thing is for sure. He knows how to grab attention and keep you coming back thirsty looking for more. He knows how to keep people talking about him and his Art. Yes, I said it. Art. It is truly an art form to go after your dream and capture a nation’s love, or even ridicule. While some viewers have said he sounds “...like a thousand angels melded into one voice!”, that and his dance moves have remained open for debate by many. Either way, he’s surrounded by sexy ladies, always. I remain confused yet intrigued. Now that is power! You can find him online under @IceJJfish on most social media websites. • Gospel Artist Shaun G’s Gift to the World
    2 Comments

Facebook│YouTube│ Vevo│ Twitter│ Instagram - Article Short Link: http://theindiegatormag.com/?p=4152 In September of 2013 I was invited to a Jam Session at a TV studio in Houston that was featuring a Gospel Artist visiting from Dallas to film a few promos and interviews. My good friend and long time Business associate, Jay (JM & Associates), thought it would be a great idea for me to check this Artist out for a feature in The INDIEgator magazine. Shaun G, is originally from St. Louis but has been living in Texas for the latter years of his life.  Shaun was first introduced to music as a young boy in church and just loved the sound and rhythm especially of Gospel, R&B and Jazz due to their chord changes and the soul behind them. Even so, he still claims to love all styles of music simply because “every style is different and should be appreciated.” His first opportunity to get in on that action and perform himself was during a Christmas program at his home

Mag Editor Kitty Y. Williams, Event Organizer Jazzy Red and Musician C-Bank$ at Coles of Houston 2/14/2013. by Kitty Y. Williams Family Reunion On Valentines Day 2013, The INDIEgator Magazine was invited out by Jazzy Red Productions and Butterflies Creation to celebrate a night of love and good music with a magnificent feast provided by Comfort Food Caterers and their über hot Server who made sure my plate was overflowing with all of Jazzy's good cooking. I'd have to say it was the probably the most enjoyable Valentine's Day I've had in a while. Part of my excitement was the nostalgia from reuniting with so many people like my old friends Jazzy Red and C-Bank$ whom I hadn't seen in a few years and Molew Designs who was there vending custom made earrings. There were several other beautiful people we got the opportunity to meet as well including DJ H-Town Butta and Emcee/Promoter Yolanda B who came down from Austin for the event. Old School Style After everyone had a chance to
